Thanks, Lonnit. I'm glad you like it. I hadn't had the 20D long (after the 300D) and decided to photograph a sunrise at my local beach. I was particularly pleased with the graduations of colour in the sky. The moon was bonus :)

This is a beauty. Yes, sure, if the moon was moved it would be better, but it's not killing the shot so don't worry about it if you don't want to move it. :) Truly a very, very lovely photo. Quite a beautiful capture. Kudos. ~ Lonnit

Joe - Yes I agree. Cloning would offer some balance. The foreground would fill with water then slowly drain as the tide came in, so I was rushed with the shot. I had framed without thinking of the moon before it caught my eye. I have another landscape shot of the same scene which has the moon in the top left third nearer the cliff face. It was toss up which photo to post. Cheers - John

Nice image, smooth in all the right places. Were it mine, I'd be tempted to clone the moon over to the right-upper third. Would add some balance to the image and some constructive tension between its main elements. But nice as-is.
