One of several shots taken minutes apart on the footbridge spanning Perkins Cove looking into the harbor at low tide on an unusually warm afternoon in late September. I love the little details in this one compared to the other shots- the angle of the tender for the Ugly Anne, the herring gull thereupon, the guy fishing in the background, etc. This shot printed up quite nicely, and it's only via a larger format that the details become apparent and can be truly appreciated.
