Thanks for the comments. I think the focal point is the flying crane, which draws attention to the fog. I took another shot without the flying crane, trying to use the tree as a focal point, but it was not as strong. --Garrett
You have nothing here you "focus on" (as a subject). Often images without subjects are pretty boring. But the colours and tonal range here is breathtaking! Good job. /Jonas
Thanks for the comments. It is actually ground fog backlit by the rising sun. The only postprocessing I did was setting a black level and USM. --Garrett
