I used a tripod, asked my daughter to pause as a ghost, then to pose for a second picture as frightened. A merge in photoshop, et voila...

Good and creative idea Pierre! I notice you don't have an asterisk (*) in the title, but hope you are OK with some constructive criticism anyway: I would like to see this simplified. In my opinion there are too many objects in the frame that do not really support the story - and then they become distracting instead. You could crop away the stuff on top of the mantle and maybe also most of the lamp and lamp-stand on the right. Can't very well crop out the yellow flower, so that would have been best to remove before the picture was taken. Finally, the girl seems less sharp than the rest of the image. Kudos for the idea though - this is the kind of creativity I'd like to see in this challenge! --Olaf
