Procrastination *

This is my box of receipts yet to be sorted and archived. It is an example of how I tend to put things off that I don't like doing. Not the best habits... but it is life. I tried to emulate the lensbaby look by using the radial blur tool in PSE using Zoom Blurr. I would really like to get me one of those sometime. Looks like a lot of fun.

Teapot, follow this link and you'll understand.http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1029&message=10884052

There are some good pics by FretNoMore(Anders) there and you can also go to the Lensbaby website...they have a gallery to show what can be done with it.

Lonnit, I hope you get some good shots. They seem to work really good for crowd scenes too. I don't know if you got the wide angle adapter, but it seems to make the effect more pronounced as in the above thread. Byron

I've hardly been doing any shooting at all lately. Things have been a bit hectic. I really should just treat myself to a shoot Friday morning. The first time I shot with it my instant reaction was that I thought it'd be great for stock concepts. Actually, this is the only thing I've shot since my initial test shots.http://www.pbase.com/image/36445584 ~ Lonnit

The zoom blur on this makes it seem to demand your attention, as bills often do. Good job.

I always put my procrastination off until tomorrow! I like the shot Byron. Fits well in the theme and the blur is just right. Not sure about the lensbaby? Can someone fill me in?
Teapot.

Thanks Lonnit. It's not easy gettin the look right. I haven't seen many of your shots... I do seem to remember you posting one once... it was the first time I had heard of the lens. Do you have any on your web site? The look seems to work well for stock photos. I'd love to see what you've done with it.

Hey, you fooled me! I thought it WAS a lensbaby! I was sing-songing in my head, "Someone's got a lensbaby... someone's got a lensbaby..." and then I read the caption. Good imitation. I like the way the shot throbs when you look at it. ~ Lonnit
