Childhood is over now - this is the real world

This is my first sort of colourised Black and White image - Just did a channel mixer, and then used the history brush to bring back the blood.

Maybe try mixing in some milk or something. I think the "blood" is too transparent. -- Victor

Should be ok now...

Hey, Tim, this exceeds the 150 kb limit - could you compress a bit, please? ~ angela

Heh here's an idea for the blood. Go to the fishmarket and buy a mackerel or something like that. Use the guts instead of ketchup. Going to be very unpopular with your daughter.

This is a newer version with better 'blood' - note that it is not the same frame as the other one. Not sure if this is allowed. I take your point on the grain of the blood.

Thanks guys and Gals. This has sure made my Saturday a bit of fun, even if my daughter was not impressed with me putting her dolly in some tomato sauce :-)

Scary! Bloodwise I think the "grain" of the ketchup makes it feel like ketchup. Maybe red whine with some flour in? Hm, difficult. /Jonas

Ill keep working on this - I like the idea, but its not quite right yet. If anyone has some tips, then Ill be glad to use them :-)

Now it looks like raspberry sauce. OK maybe I should come back after breakfast.
Gruesome shot btw. :-)

Is this better? It looks slightly purple to me, but I think my monitor needs recalibration :-)

That ketchup looks like ketchup. Can you fix the color so that it looks more like blood?

What happened? She got too close to my knife? LOL! ~ Lonnit
