I think this is a case where the image fits the theme, but proves the point that minimum DOF isn't always the right thing to do. For me, the out of focus eye is a major spoiler on an otherwise nice portrait. Phil
Teapot that would be breaking the portrait guidelines, "broad-lighting" the face. I think I'd rather see the lighting as is, but some more dof to bring both eyes to acceptable sharpness. --Olaf
A very strong portrait Brian, the eye in focus really draws you in. To me it's just a little underexposed also the highlight is on the out of focus cheek, it would have worked better if the other cheek was highlighted.
