It's as wide open as I can get... I stacked all three Kenko Extension tubes together.

Kudos to you for getting the 3 Kenkos to behave so well on your 50mm lens - they're giving me fits when I stack them :)

There's nothing on the other side of 1, 2 is better for focus tests ;-)
Great macro, kinda bugs me a little (very very little, forgive me) that you would take a picture of a ruler.

to Noel: The reason I focussed on the 2 was that you can't see the 1 properly due to the metal lip on the end of the measuring tape. I figure second place is pretty good by my books. (less work... lol) -Byron

In light of all the roar over focus accuracy, you shout "Nyah" to all who say AF is inaccurate! :) I might have focused on the "1"... People might subliminally tend to give this shot a "2". LOL
