I'll give that a try when i get home, but I was trying to show the tension in the hand. The movement was mostly sideway, with the thumb being playing a big role. I'm not sure if this would be apparent if the hand was vertical. (I'm also not sure that it's shown here, seeing as I'm explaining it. :))

(*)Maybe rotate clockwise about 30 degrees? Less a reflection of the event, but more dramatic. ;-) -Ed Hahn
