Porth Nanven, Cornwall, UK

This beach is locally known as Dinosaur Egg Beach.
Many visitors assume that these weirdly shaped boulders are the work of the sea, but they are the product of glacial activity. Stand on the beach and look back towards the cliff, and you will see a wall of them waiting to break away and join those on the beach.
The boulders range in size from Hen's eggs to boulders 1-2 metres across. They are legally protected by The National Trust, which owns the beach.
The long exposure used here was acheived through the use of ND filters.
