Thanks very much. This was my first outing with this lens. I dragged my husband along to feed these guys Crispix, while I attempted to get a good shot. It was incredible how close they hovered, and amazing that both of us escaped with clean jackets. LOL! This shot was cropped only along the top for the sake of composition. Nothing on the sides.

CT your "not about equipment"-statement made me think: I would have liked to see this done with a compact 2MP digicam with, say a 3X optical zoom... NOT possible!!! I do understand your point though. Great shot georgiabyte - absolutely amazing! --Olaf

Nice crispness...proves that equipment does not produce the shots, the photographer does. This one is as clear as many of the "L" lens shots I've seen.
