The Cloud Making Industry *

Latrobe Valley, Australia

There are 3 industries represented in this photo. A sandstone quarry in the foreground, farming lands in the middle and the cloud-making power station in the back.
And the town spread out across the front of the power staion is where I make my home. Lots more industries there!

The power plant is fuelled by brown coal. The whole of the valley sits on a large brown coal deposit. There are no nuclear plants in this area.

Nukes operate by heating water, so nuke and steam are not mutually exclusive. Steam is one of the things nukes make. -- Victor

Very interesting perspective on the industries in your area. The clouds add a nice balance between man and nature. I do have to ask - the power plant is steam, not a nuke, right?
