Maybe a different arrangement of the bottles would not be necessary - maybe just a slightly different framing would have been enough: The bottoms of the bottles is in the middle of the frame. I imagine lowering the camera slightly, showing a little less of the bottles and a little more of the pattern on the surface would have been an improvement. The most interesting part of the bottles is the bottoms of them anyway... --Olaf

I happen to like the way they are arranged... it makes for a more interesting "light pattern" on the counter / surface. Nice work. Markjay

I tried lining them up differently, but when they were in front of one another, there was too much shadow and not enough light for my liking!

Nice idea and well seen! I imagine a little more varied arrangement of the bottles, instead having them lined up shoulder to shoulder, could have made for a more interesting composition. The light is interesting and the whole photo has that nice golden glow to it. Maybe the darker "exposure" in the frame-part would work well on the whole image? --Olaf
