The Tiki Bar

what appears to be a / the backdrop for the scene, is actually the straw hanging down from the
tiki bar hut / roof. I can tell you people were definately looking at me while I was photographing the bottles. Probably thinking... yet another tourist with a camera making believe he's a photographer. Little do they know I actually LIVE here. lol

Nice composition and a fantastic background. A little more DOF to get all the bottles in sharp focus would have been nice.

I'm not sure whether inclusion of the 'Bacardi' text helps the image or distracts from it. I suppose I would have preferred no text, but walking up and rotating the bottles certainly would have labelled you as 'strange'.

Nice colors and composition. I'd never have guessed Tiki bar, the colors hint at a "crisp and cold" setting.

Your comment is great, I get the same sensation all the time, walking around D.C. The locals (e.g., the sidewalk vendors) automatically tune you out as a tourist if you are carrying a camera.

I like the repition and horizontals in this image. Were those three bottles really purple?

I swear at first I thought the background was a fountain lit at night.
