This was taken a couple of winters ago at the wildlife reserve at Sepulveda Dam in southern California. The two small lakes are a favorite resting place for migrating geese, as well as home to the local flora and fauna.

The color of the light is real, no PS enhancement or saturation. The early rising sun hit the lifting morning fog and this golden glow resulted. In less than 15 minutes the fog and glow disappeared, like a dream.
