That is indeed the lights from the rims of the wheels. I spent some time maneouvering the car so that the pattern of the rear wheel would fall in the spaces of the pattern made by the front wheel. I meant to get it midway in between, but I missed the mark. However, I like the effect just the same. -- Victor
Don't know why no one has commented, so I'll start - very cool capture of the cycloid motion of the lights on the rim of the wheel (or whatever was turning). Would be perfect in a calculus textbook. -Ed Hahn
