I'm not sure what the material is, but the children were in the 5th and 6th grade. The mural fills a wall near the entrance of the school. It was done as a part of an 'artist in residence' program funded by the local PTA each year. The mural depicts cultural and historic sites and events in our town.

Oh wow! Not only is this a great complementary color image but I'm very impressed by the quality of the mural made by the children. It looks like a relief sculpture but is it clay, or some type of carved modeling material...? Please find out for me if you can. How old are the children who created it? The variety of textures, colors and shapes is delightful. Great capture! Roberta
