You might want to try desaturating the bird's tonails. I think that most of the color there comes from the reflection of the boy's arm. Since he's desaturated, maybe his reflection should be also. --Victor

Nice execution of main subject isolation using depth of field and color desaturation. A very pleasing effect as my eye alternated between the parrot and Matthew, adding additional energy to the photo. -- R.J. (Imager)
