Red & Green painted with light
by Angela Johnson

Maglight flashlight used to paint the light.

f8, 30 seconds, ISO 100, 28mm
only PS work was framing.

I've been having a lot of fun with light painting!
A real difference from my usual of natural light.

Very nice Angela! Love the lighting and the way the fabric "hangs". Nice composition too! A funny little side-note: Here in Denmark, "a red and a green", I am told, means a wiener (a sausage) and a beer, please! --Olaf

You have a good dark style to your images, I love the painting with light effect, have you tried a lazer pen/tourch combination? would like to see that zing. I'll go with dale's comments all round.

very nice

Great shot Angela, I have to try this painting by light technique soon. This is what I love about these challenges, makes us go out and try things we keep procrastinating about..... Vikas

Angela, this is a great photo. Wish I can see it in higher resolution though. The technique sounds really fun as well. I guess it's time for me to buy a new flashlight! ;) - Jing He

Angela,

You are a great photographer, very knowledgeable and most likely a wonderful person. But, that don't stop me from saying bad words when you post something like this.

This is just incredible. Post card or greeting card time. Even a calendar. Definitely a wall hanger. Preferably just at the front entrance so everyone can see it.

Great job!

Dale
