Thanks for the comments. I've played off and on for a while with dye and water (see a shot I posted in the exhibition gallery). I've varied the "color" of the water by varying the color of the plate the water was on; and I've varied the dye colors. This looked different enough to me to share it.

I like the shot, but it does look a little freaky with the colors. At first I thought the red drop was blood falling into cream/milk! Most "drop" shots are cool and soothing-- congrats on envoking a different reaction than the typical expectation.
*Liquids* was always going to inspire this type of shot and they're great fun to do. You've made this one your own by choosing some odd colours to play with. The water looks milky and the red dye complements it well. Would the drop be better centred in the frame? Hard to tell. Good catch.
