Tim: Of your three entries, I like this the best. I do think it would work better with an almost severe level of contrast. Use Levels, Curves and/or a dose of coarse USM (e.g. Amount 30, Radius 5, Threshold 0) to heighten contrast and really emphasize the forms in the image/the reflection off the water.
