Thanks again for the comments:

I took 5 picture in total, one front on, two from each side in profie and then another two from 45 deg either side or my nose.

Then in Photoshop openned each image in a new layer. Added a mask to each of the layers and blended them into each other. Messed around with it tweeking dodge and burn bits.

I find it hideous, know what you mean, cant look at it ;)

Jon: Interesting concept, terrific execution, and the amount of work is clear. But I have to leave it at this: The shot screws with my head every time I look at it (*sMiLe*). --Joe

Outstanding Jon!! This image is just incredible! Truly one of the most amazing "portraits" I have ever seen. Looks like something the SciFi Network might use for a splash screen on one of their ads :-) Love the name too. Perfect! Thanks for sharing it with us!! --David Lee

Thanks Guys, I did this shot a few years ago with my old Sony camera. Took sometime in PS to blend the 5 layers together. It is pretty foul I must admit. Glad you liked it ;¬) Jon M

Awesomely amazing, yet grotesque at the same time - I can't look away (although I desperately want to!! LOL!). Truly superb job on this! ~ Lonnit

Great idea and well done! Makes me think: perfect "skin" to wrap around a 3D-(computer) model of a human head. You've given me a the necessary data for my brain to create a 3D-image - and done so via a single shot with the 2D-medium that photography really is. That is no small feat! Intriguing shot that grows on you! --Olaf
