3rd place Black or white?
by Guillaume

A basic representation of opposites...

Canon EOS D60 ,Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
I chose to push the levels and burn the whites in Photoshop because the wall was just plain awful! I liked the feeling of "strong divine light" on the preacher. Oh, I'm a total atheist and I don't believe in marriage!! what an opposite photographer... hide exif

Hey Guillaume, nice shot! Reminds me of "Four Weddings and a Funeral": that groom looks just like Hugh Grant from behind. Looked through old photos the other day, to see if I could find any for the exhibition gallery. Clearly noticed some life-cycle phases: first a bunch of different weddings and later a bunch of babies. Nothing strange, just the norm I guess, if most of your friends are about the same age. One of my photos, is kind of like this one, not from the church but from the reception, using the groom and bride from the back to frame one of the guests performing in front of them with a guitar. Well done in post-processing as well - the priest looks almost ethereal - must be close to God! Did you do this as a hired photographer, or as a friend? --Olaf
