Sorry Nic i edited the image date wrong the other day, it initially showed 1/Jan/1980 as in states in the full exif data (had not set the date on my camera). I changed the date the other day but input the wrong month, October as opposed to the correct date of the 15 November 2003. Sorry for the confusion.

David, very nice image, but do you realize that it falls outside the eligible date range? The Eligible category is only for photo's taken between 15-30 November. Is it ok with you if we move it to the Exhibition category?

Nice capture, David. Your tree certainly seems to
be taking over. As it grows, it's branches will
no doubt cover the ground on which it's shadow is cast. :-) Mark J

Nice shot David, I have seen this idea before from Brayan Peterson. He had a much plainer shot (very brown grass and almost nothing on the horizon). Good work.

Cheers

David Chow is a tree and this is his self-portrait! Seriously, this is a nice shot!!! I don't know why, but it tickles my funny bone. The horizon is maybe too close to the middle - makes the viewer uncertain whether the tree shadow or the sky is the main subject. I can see why you took it that way though - the top of the sky and cloud is important so cropping at the top doesn't do it. Same goes for cropping at the bottom. Still a nice image just as is... --Olaf
