Lone Indonesian fishermen using traditional fishing techniques off Bintan Island, Indonesia. I think their loneliness is accentuated by the fact that the built-up, hi-tech city of Singapore is just visible on the horizon to the right.

This is the first time I've submitted a photo to a gallery like this - I've only had my S45, my first camera, a few months. Unfortuately I think I've lost some detail editing the jpeg image. I'll be shooting in RAW more often in the future. Still, I have to start somewhere...
