OK - Earl busted me. They were not my daughters feet!
This challenge has pushed me to learn more about my equipment. On the crib shot, I took it at 10:00pm, so I remotely bounced the flash against the window white sheer curtain and white wood blinds to make the light come from the window. Everytime I played with either the lighting or the focus, I had to take the CF card out which meant move the camera - so I took the USB cord out of the plastic wrap and captured the images directly to my laptop.
After shooting several empty crib images, I realized I needed feet so, fifteen minutes, one jumber, two bunny socks and eight crumpled paper towels later, there were her feet!
I had so much fun with this. My wife got into it too, so we now have a framed version with both of us downstairs in our living room.
Thanks everyone - your images are sparking the creative "vis-arts" part of me that has been dormant since college! :)
