Even if the center of interest is in the center of the image, I like the composition (good example of how breaking the rules sometimes makes for a better photograph). The perspective lines in the out of focus background lead the eye to the sharp center of the image which in turn is framed by the frame of the mirror - Nice! What I would have liked to be different though, is that big camera/lens in your face. It is fine that it is visible, but I think the photograph would be more interesting if you'd let us see some of your face! I know, it would be harder to compose the shot without looking through the viewfinder, but not impossible, especially as it is a digital camera (instant review, just keep trying until you get what you want)!

Nice image, Jeff. B&W works well here. On the contructive side, an off-center composition (lower-right third?) would give it more grab. But nice as-is. Nice camera. Is that new? :-) --Joe
