Yes, I should have used some fill flash...but as an act of grace, I wanted it outside, back where he/she/it belonged...not my bedroom...lol

Your usual deep and thought-provoking titles and comments, Mr Trav, Sir. I always enjoy seeing what you come up with! :-) Regards Nico

Bug Whisperer. That's funny! I really am not comfortable with bugs... But, if they show up around me, I'll photograph them just to be polite.

Toads and Frogs? LOVE 'em! ~Lydia

Nice shot Traveller...especially good since you were working with the bug on the ceiling. Maybe we should all take Bug Whisperer classes from Lydia. She could entice that bug to come down from the ceiling and into her light tent. She probably could get him to smile, too! ;^) -dtallakson

Yes, he is on the ceiling and the image has been flipped...shot with my 70~200 f4 because I don't have a macro lens....and I wanted to get out the 580EX flash, but it was late, I wanted to shoo him outside...and get to bed...lol Traveller

Is this bug on the ceiling? The shadow angles are kind of odd, but nice of it to come offer to model for you! ~Sharon

He/she/it is adorable... but I'm partial to bugs. :) I think mine LOVE to come into my bedroom for a few minutes' shoot. They get to go back outside soon enough. It's COLD out there! :) Nice focus, Trav. ~Lydia
