Positioning and DOF are everything for illusion.

Little Hear No Evil is on a table about 15 feet behind the flowers and such. (No Photoshop trickery.)

Thanks, Michael and Mary Anne. Middle son usually balks at modeling for me. But, this time he jumped right in there and gave me 'monkey' as I asked. It did help that I'd done the setup quite thoroughly by running back and forth and onto the table and down with the timer before calling him in. I think it pays to be kind to the models. grin ~Lydia

This is too funny, Lydia! I'm impressed by how agreeable your kids are...I don't think mine would ever have done this. BTW the DOF works well. --Mary Anne

My first thought was that you had done one of your Photoshop exercises Lydia, but your comment makes it clear that's not the case. Clever concept and execution. As you say, DOF is vital here. Regards, Michael
