Good perspective and lighting on the subject Trav.
I'm not a fan of the blown highlights but one would need to blend several exposures to avoid that in such a situation, given the limited dynamic range of our equipment.
Regarding the ice cream... who can afford to buy it?...
That should be the question... :-)
Found out so Quick, Peter....Nicely done! My life is so terrible I stopped by the Norton Simon Museum very late this afternoon....I pass it on occasion...but finally stopped today at 5pm....a little late, but what the heck.
Art, erotica and Vengeful Gods from South East Asia was on display....yikes, I was just there! I tried to do some erotic Indian sandstone sculpture as a photograph for a newly married couple....but it really was too erotic, at least as I shot it as a gift to anyone.
I also did some "certainly not a frog," shots....but they also may be a little too-too...those 6th century stone cutters sure knew their art....lol
I leave for Utah tomorrow....first time! I'm excited.
Back to work and bed....thanks for being so gosh darned smart!
Is this the Burghers of Calais by Auguste Rodin?
Love the unique view. Great use of contrasting color, not just DOF to separate the object from the background.
