Thanks again.
This is a sunrise shot in Canyonlands. I was one of about 20 people that got there
30 minutes before sunrise. My first vantage point was well off to the left, a spot
where you couldn't get the hoodoos into the shot.
But after the sun came up, people got their shots and moved out of the way
so the rest of us could grab a few. I took this handheld, on my tip toes to get the
sun peeking out from under the arch, but yet still holding onto the bright red in the
rock. The exif was stripped when I downloaded a smaller version from my site.
EXIF looks like this: iso100, f22, 1/15 of a second, Tokina 12-24 lens at 12mm, Canon XSi.

This is really great, Dave, esp. with the difficult lighting conditions, which you used to your advantage.

Very creative point of view and well on topic with sharpness from foreground to background. It's a stunning image, by the way. Regards, Michael
