Thanks Mary Anne, Trav and Michael... shucks too kind...?
I was determined to catch this little blighter, as it dive-bombed me! obviously daddy and mummy birdie time and I was an intruder to be dealt with.
After a dozen unsuccessful attempts to capture a clean shot, I waited for his pattern of flight to clue me into a strategy. I then manually fixed the focus at a point by which he seemed to consistently pass. Then trigger finger at the ready I finally captured some possibilities.
Twas hard work, he really dive-bombed me and streaked past my head making his intentions abundantly clear.
I feel sure that in birdie talk, there would have been colourful expressions projected my way?
This is a show stopper Bob. I can't imagine how you did it. I have only been able to capure birds in flight when there is nothing behind them to distract the auto focus. Regards, Michael
Oh wow! I didn't have a clue that this was yours....(Usually I have an idea of who did what), but this is just so....clean....and at the perfect moment. Traveller
