thank you Traveller - appreciate your kind words.
Konstantin

PS It's a pity that we didn't chat abut Bermuda Triangle ...

Well, I think it is a stupendous image that you should be very proud of, as conceptualized and in execution...Traveller

Traveller - welcome ! I got the idea of this composition as a photo to Michael Jackson song "Sail across the water, Float across the sky"

Thank you, a touch of Surrealism is....almost always enjoyable....as long as we know it's surrealism....(is this true? Does the enjoyment of Surrealism depend....(depend!) on knowing that it is Surrealism?)

Hummmmmm

And maybe this was the problem for me with the image...was it Surrealism or interestingly shot realism? Ambiguity is fine....being lost is maybe not so fine.

My personal enjoyment is greatly enhanced now....(Hummm? Why would this be? But it is true....)

Thanks again,

Non-flippant, Traveller...Your Buddy....(smile)

Best Wishes,

Michael, Traveller, Olaf - thank you very much for your comments.
Dear Traveller, I think a bit irony is never bad. We could have nice & funny discussion about Bermuda Triangle but ... I think you are a bit too serious. Hope my “flippant” did insult nobody. Basically what does this mean - “flippant” - never heard this word before, Should be something very polite, as your whole message, isn’t it ?

What about processing, it is really not a big secret - I’m downloading original photo to Pending.

Olaf, I’m afraid I can not answer on your question. How can I describe what I feel when I see/hear something? If you don’t get feeling of harmony looking at this picture - then most probably we fell this phenomena differently. Do we need any reasonable interpretation ? It's all about feeleing ... May be I am the only one who has that feeling, who knows ...

I like the sky and the water, the boat reflection and even the boat, but I don't understand this. Not so much that I don't understand how it is made. No, more importantly, I don't find any good way to interpret this, which in my view is the weakness of this photograph. Perhaps I am just thick-headed?

Dear Konstantin, I'm not sure that that is an adequate answer to the question. On the one hand, if you wish to maintain that for artistic reasons a dessire to maintain an aura of mystery about the image...that is, I suppose acceptable.

It may well be the case that the image immediately becomes ineffective if its secrets are reveled...this I can respect.

A flippant, I shot it in the Bremuda Triangle, not so much.

I just thought I should let you know.

Best Wishes, Traveller

Michael, when I posted this photo first time I was also asked how it was made. The secret is very easy - I shot this in Bermuda Triangle - there is a lot of stuff of this kind there.

Me too....how did you get this optical illusion effect? Traveller

This is a stunning image Konstantin. I'm wondering how it was made. Regards, Michael
