2nd Place Cool by Nico Conradie

Probably not very harmonious, I have to confess. But I have always wanted to try painting with light using sparkles!

Only now that I have tried it, do I begin to appreciate how good her pic really is.

Thanks for the kind comments. I hope you had a look at the pic I used as inspiration too. In terms of technicalities, I had one studio light (the modeling light, not the flash) on the body of the guitar for about the first say 10 seconds of the exposure (the sparkler by itself did not provide enough illumination); lit the sparkler; switched off the light; then did the bit of "painting" with the sparkler for the remainder of the time. The blue tinting was added afterwards in post-processing. Glad you liked it. Regards Nico

Nico, This is my favorite of your three (because it's blue?). I do have a small nit to pick. I'd clone out the little bit of sparkler light that runs off the right hand edge. Perhaps I should say, "Game Over!"
