Thanks for the way too complimentary comment, Bob.

Wonderful Nico, you certainly have become a master at lighting your subjects.

Beautifully creative ~ Regards Bob

Thanks, guys.

In spite of the dust - which really irritates the life out of me! - it came out pretty much as I had hoped.

I had a soft box to the right and slightly behind the guitar - lighting the blue edge only. And to the left I had a light that was highly directional (through a honeycomb), just touching the strings.

Shortly afterward, one of the strings broke, so I probably won't be able to re-shoot. :-(

Regards Nico

This is a knockout Nico. I'm trying to work out how you arranged the lights. Regards, Michael

oh dang. I knew you'd enter a winner, Nico. *sigh*

Ok. *shakes off disappointment and enjoys the beauty*

This is quite lovely, Nico. That punch of blue is amazing. And, there's just enough detail in the darkness to make it all clear. Amazing. ~Lydia

Reply to Self...don't be so super critical...it's a hell of a shot...and yet, and yet, maybe you want to shoot it one more time? You should have the set up down pat.....this is pretty close to being a winner. traveller
