Spring Fallen

Gilbert, Arizona

Arizona's Sonoran deserts explode with color each Spring. The bright yellow flowers of the State tree, the palo verde, blanket the ground as Spring's last splash of color before the Summer Sun comes to turn it all to dust.

Nice little story that goes with this nice photograph. I don't know why, but seems turned the wrong way to me - seems to need a 90 degree clockwise rotation. Ah, I think it has to do with the perspective: things on the right side are closer than on the left. Looking from top to bottom, there seem to be no perspective - inconsistent with a vertically shot photograph.
