Thanks Nico, I know this one is a bit of a stretch for the challenge :). I doubt that it is all that old, it is one of many drawings/messages carved into the side of a sand bluff on the central Oregon coast, at a place called Strawberry Hill. I imagine the climate and location wear things down rather quickly. I went to Yachats for a week a few weeks ago. (I also photographed harbor seals, a heron, and a raven from this spot.) --Melanie
