The Stage, The Footlights, Troup We've Made It....Broadway!

Curtain up! Light the lights!
We got nothing to hit but the heights!
I can tell, wait and see.
There's the bell! Follow me!
And nothing's gonna stop us 'til we're through!
Honey, everything's coming up roses and daffodils!

Nice flowers, Traveller, but more than that, I love your story...as always. How sweet of that flower girl to recognize your specialness as she does.

Two problems, the range of light was extreme, from bright flood lamp to black night, and deep reds....which I think Canon has trouble with. The flowers did seem like people to me, all eager and crowding forward...I tried about 10 shots, lower and an extreme, or extreme as I can go, wide angle...this was the best of the lot...or conveyed what I saw in my mind's eye.

Interestingly, there is a flower girl in Hollywood that has taken to giving me a rose every time I am there sitting at an outdoor cafe...she run's up, kisses my cheek and dashes off to sell her wares....and leaves me a single rose.

It is odd, I have tried to pay her because I can afford to...and because I really enjoy the rose she gives me. But last night was Red...I tried to shoot it when I got home...and red's are tough to capture...at least with Canon.

The lyrics are from the closing of the Musical Gypsy...I wanted to use a Little Night Music....but that REALLY didn't work.

Gotta run.

Very creative, Mr Traveller, Sir! :-)

Very nicely done... even the somewhat harsh frontal lighting reinforces the floodlit feeling.

No major items of critique from my side. I would love to know whom you're quoting or from which show the text comes? Kind regards Nico

Nice idea to represent flowers as actors
