Thanks Nico and Lydia. Nico, I did a curves adjustment. It might look better now. I have a new monitor but I have not put it through any calibration so things might be off. -dtallakson

Way too good for me! If you had entered this in the recent Creative Self-Portrait Challenge, it would have been a sure-fire winner. The facial expression is very well done. Something to improve/do differently? On my monitor I can sort of make out th areas where you edited since those are just ever so slightly darker and more even than the rest of the dark background. Playing a little bit more with curves and levels might make the illusion even more convincing? Many compliments! Regards Nico
