Excellent Traveller! I like the perspective you chose for this and the orientation toward the light. Well done! CJ

Nice execution of this theme. Bright light in the background is very becoming

Fix'd....more or less, mas or menos....if I make the earth line perfectly horizontal to the frame, you can see that the ocean is tending off the edge of the world, as it were.

This is half way between the extremes...and I don't think you can see the problem now in either direction.

But it is also to be remembered that the hills of the cemetery were softly rolling...as the hills of a Military Cemetery should be regardless.

Still, this does work better, I think as per Nico's comments.

Best Wishes, Traveller

Lovely lovely lovely... very deep and thought-provoking. That horizon is indeed perplexing. The actual horizon is absolutely... well... horizontal, but since that line is so much lighter than the edge of the land, I cannot help perceiving the image to be skew. A kind of optical illusion, I guess. Regards Nico

The actual horizon, on the ocean is straight and was much more prominent before I applied some heavy curves to brighten the image...now the ocean horizon is negligable, but the earth looks just a little off....I thought of skewing this to the left and down....but the trees are in perfect proportion now.

So...I like it for a lot of different messages and decided to leave it alone.

Thanks for commenting.

I like this a lot, Trav. The blown light between the trees makes me think of that bright light we are supposed to follow when we go. A very evocative shot! ~Sharon

Unfortunately, I like this because it makes me think of the 'hereafter'... with that bright light between the trees. Well shot, Trav. ~Lydia
