Whoa...I bet they did take good care of you, Pops. I guess you got to go to the 4th floor where the hospital is? I've never been down there...thank goodness! Were you able to continue your trip OK? -dtallakson

Mrs. Pops and I were walking from one spot aboard the ship to another and a spot on the deck was wet. In an instant I was flat on my back with a seriously hurting head. I remember Mrs. Pops asking if I was all right and thinking, "Give me a second and this pain will subside." My Canon G2 survived the fall too. Princess took good care of me after the accident.

Thanks Nico, Pops and Lydia. Pops....ouch! What's the story on the scar? I hope it wasn't a shipboard accident. I'm partial to Princess, too. Of course, that may be because my brother works for them. ;^) -dtallakson

Ah, The Golden Princess. I recognized a Princess ship from the thumbnail. Mrs. Pops and I have sailed on the Golden twice. The first time was 2003 and I've got a scar as a momento.

The second was 2006 and a British Isles cruise.

What a contrast to the previous post... from intense mechanical sounds to possibly the other extreme... I can just imagine some soft romantic piano sonata or something like that drifting upwards and outwards. Super! Regards Nico
