Thanks tv for your comments. I think you're right about the stronger shadows. I took this shot in a light tent. I'm still kind of fascinated with it since it's new to me. It does do well to eliminate shadows but the shadows would have confirmed the action of the blocks falling down. -dtallakson

I would love to see this with some stronger shadows to confirm the spacial relationships, especially of the blocks in motion above the table/floor surface. Well constructed (no pun intended). -tv

I'm so glad I did not have to reveal my total ignorance about 'Jenga' because now that you have explained it I can pretend that I knew that? ;-)

I can appreciate the degree of difficulty and you have succeeded admirably dT... congratulations, great capture.

The absence of distinct shadows of those blocks caught mid-flight make one take a second look to realise their position.

Thanks Carole and Pops. Carole, it is a stacking game and the blocks are actually falling down. It would have been easy in Photoshop but there is no Photoshop here except for Levels. It was much more difficult to do than I thought. It took many, many, many shots to come up with one that was both lit well, somewhat in focus and showed the blocks in motion. ~dtallakson

Simple, clean, no distractions and excellent lighting. I love that you can see some of the blocks are in motion. Great!

Is Jenga a stacking game DT? Nice action shot as it looks like these are tumbling down (unless you did a good job of making it look that way!) :-D CJ
