I love the twisted shot up metal parts, wonderful take on the challenge.

I really like the earthy colors and elements - yet there's an unnatural quality too. Penny Street

These look like carcasses of living creatures ... very nice

Olaf, you're right!

If the weather would really cooperate, what would be great would be a cold, calm night with fog. Then, armed with some flashes and lights, a guy could make something really spooky out of this. I imagine light beaming out through the bullet holes and showing up in the fog. Jim H.

What an interesting find! Bonnie and Clyde was the first thing that came to my mind as well. On second thought, the shape of those cars look like something from a mafia movie taking place in the late 40's or early 50's.

It would be interesting to visit this site at dusk, armed with camera and lights. Somehow something else than broad daylight seems fitting to this subject?

Very cool image Jim. That frozen pond looks totally bizarre- almost like lard in a way.

The master of the wide-angle at it again! And I think the title is brilliant: shot can have at least three meanings here (if not more), I think. Lovely stuff as always, Jim. Regards Nico

I like this one...a lot! The frozen water inside the car sure is interesting. ~dtallakson

This is excellent on so many levels. Love it!

This is one cooool picture! :) Great find and angles, you handle that wide-angle exemplarily. (I'd loose the border all together if I were you, but I am very good at ignoring borders completely.)

I'll have to think about the border :)

This is a frozen pond. I think that these old cars must have been placed here to behave as erosion control for a road that is very close-by. I'm not enough of an old car buff to know what makes or models they are, but it was kind of a striking scene. It reminded me of the end of "Bonnie and Clyde" for some reason ;-) Jim H.

Whoa! What a cool shot, Jim! Is that frozen lake inside?

I, the Queen of Borders, do not care for the this one (perhaps black would be good?), but the shot is wonderful! ~Lydia
