Nice miniature town. Has a classic holiday feel to it.

No, I think you were right, but I did not finish the job. I turned all the background whitish, instead of trying to create a "night sky" effect. Here's my next attempt.

Hmm. Well.... right. I'll be damned lol. I think you proved me wrong :)
You've brightened it.. and removed some yellow.. so far so good. But where are the "blues"? If you use Photoshop.. what does an "auto colors" do? I would try that on a duplicate layer, and then decrease to perhaps around 25-30% transparency (haven't got PS here at work.) It really is a delightful little setup, but blue would put more life into it. IMO, of course. Right now it has more of a "duotone" look. Charming it its way.. like a faded colorprint in an old magazine. But I just love some hint of blue in images.

Many thanks to you both. You are right, of course, K2. I took out some of the yellow, and posted the new version.

Now there's a charming view.. but I'm also reminded of the old Inuit proverb "Do not eat the yellow snow." ;) A more realistic white balance would improve this image - or so thinks me.

Mrs. Pops loves her Department 56 Snow Village. Glad to see there's a Starbucks there! (We have Buckos as well, LOL)
