I do see it now, Kiki. Oddly enough, the only thing I did to this was shadow/highlight and Neat Image (reduces noise). Oh yeah.. .and a tad bit of saturation just for this challenge. I'll see what I can do about it. Thanks for the comments, folks! ~Lydia

Nice choice of colors but the paint-job has made this too flat for my taste. When colorization is too monotonous, it kind of drains the life out of a photo, imo. The odd little nuances vanish, which lessens the "credibility". I suspect I would have preferred the original of this picture. A matter of taste of course. But what's with the noise?! There are several halos along the back of the caterpillar, after selections it seems? And several "blobs" in the blue area. You usually very good at noticing noise in picture, so I'm wondering if your monitor setting got messed up? If you don't instantly see what I mean - check out the green and blue channels separately. -k2
