4th - Red Keys for Left Pinky - by Brent

I got this keyboard in the mail today and it is supposed to teach me how to touch type by muscle motor memory. I really hope it works because it takes me forever to leave comments the way I currently hunt and peck :-)

This is a fun picture of an amazing keyboard. I kind of wish I had one that wild-looking! It really is pretty IMO. Great entry, too!

And Victor: If I recall correctly, in the typing class I had way back in about 1970 we did exercises involving small groups of letters. Perhaps three or four new letters at a time. Then we'd add those to the few we'd learned the day before, etc.

The amusing thing was the text that they came up with to have you type that only used the few letters that you were supposed to have learned at that stage!

I'm not sure how more modern typing classes or programs work these days. I do also remember that we had manual typewriters without any legends on the keys. You *had* to "touch type" because looking at the keyboard didn't do you any good :)

One time in Guatemala, I saw a typing class in session. Everyone was typing the same letter over and over. I supposed they were going to teach the next letter the next day. Strange way to learn how to type. -- Victor

Well it seems this keyboard company really missed out on a potential feature cleverly suggested by Jim- it didn't come with matching fingernail polish ;-) Regarding the focal point; I wanted to emphasize the "Q" as this is a "Qwerty" keyboard. If I don't keep this thing it will be more due to the stiff keys rather than the garish color scheme.
Thanks for your comments all :-)

Love the colors. Finger nail polish - LOL! I only wish the point of focus was just a fraction closer to bring the close red keys into more focus and to push the orange more out of focus.

Fabulous! I love the colors, and the comment from Jim - "Do they provide finger nail polish colors to match the key colors?" Hubby and I had a good laugh on that one!

And I wouldn't ever give it away. Thanks for starting us off, Brent.

What a brilliant (no pun intended) first post. Wow... I can hardly imagine something more garish... and lovely at the same time. Super! Regards Nico

LOL to Jim's comment.
Brent: I think you should keep it! Delightful colors. Why should kids have all the fun? :D

That is a neat idea. Do they provide finger nail polish colors to match the key colors?

Thanks Kiki, with a little work lets hope this keyboard has me clicking keys as quick as a shutter release button soon. Once that is accomplished I can donate the keyboard to a nursery school somewhere where it will fit right in- it looks pretty silly in my office ;-)

Well you certainly know your colors. Great shot, and an intimidating first post!
