Thanks much Olaf :-) I tried some other angles but seeing inside the vents made it seem less abstract to me. I liked your idea of going more high-key with it and made some changes. Appreciate the feedback.

I feel that there is more potential in this shot, than what shows in its current form. I would experiment with different crops and rotations and would probably lighten it up quite a bit, making it more high-key. Kudos for catching this abstract from such a mundane part of a building!

Absolutely perfect abstract view of a mundane structural fixture. By human scale I only meant that the structure from which the image was taken should be a human scale structure. Cropping out unwanted elements is essential to convey the abstract view. -tv
