What Jonah Saw

Colorado Springs, CO

Air Force Academy Chapel. Honest, no color manipulation used in the PP of this shot (only a slight increase in saturation). The stained glass in each "seam" of stainless steel construction, turns the cold gray steel interior into these remarkable colors.

Canon EOS 20D ,Tokina 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 AT-X 107 DX Fisheye

VERY cool building. I would have thought this was highly manipulated on the colors. Thanks for the interesting image and description. !~Lydia

Before I read your title, I was seeing this as a stylized scarab or some more primative creature like a trilobite because abstraction lends itself to creative interpretations to rationalize ambiguity. You provide the clues to the real identity, but the first reaction is: whaaaa? Very striking image. -tv
