"Wheatgrass refers to the young grass of the common wheat plant, Triticum aestivum, that is freshly juiced or dried into powder for animal and human consumption. Both provide chlorophyll, amino acids, minerals, vitamins, and enzymes. ... It is often available in juice bars, alone or in mixed fruit and/or vegetable drinks." - Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia
This is Forrest on his people powered wheat-grass juicer bike. Forrest is the owner/operator of a wheatgrass/smoothie business based in Eugene, Oregon. His business is mobile and he is often found at energy conscious venues on the west coast operating sans-electricity. He has designed/built/re-built most everything he owns from his home, to his shirt and is constantly looking for greener ways to operate his home and business. This photo was taken in the garden, in front of the compost bin, behind his home in Eugene.
- Wheat grass shots taste like chlorophyll and sugar.
