That fence is a 'cool' shade of green... very original!
I like the composition, it really gives a strong message yet in a most subtle and delicate way. (... in contrast to 'some' of us 'wink' who feel the need to slam GREEN down the throat of the viewer... ;-) )
Thanks Lydia and Nico. Nico, I kind of wanted a desaturated look to the fence so I created a B & W layer over the background layer and then reduced the opacity by 50% or so. I used a layer mask to bring back some of the saturation of the flowers. This was my thinking, anyway. ~dtallakson
The image has instant appeal. No doubt at all. I would have loved this to be in my portfolio, to be honest. I was wondering if some more playing with curves/levels/contrasts might not add to the impact, but I am not too sure. (Perhaps too much frame...?
